Istvan Gulyas

Istvan has been our Club Chairman since 2023.  He has a long history with the club having played at Senior Level for 6 years.  "The Gaffer" has two children playing for the club and also works closely with our Under 14 Girls Team.  He has previously held the post as Club Welfare Officer.  Istvan is personally involved with every age group and all day to day club affairs, whilst providing our coaches with all the support and guidance they need to ensure our club continues to thrive.

Alex Jefferies

Alex has served as Club Secretary since 2023.  Having previously coached one of our girls teams for a number of years, when the girls grew up and moved on, Alex stayed onboard to give us his support!  Alex handles all player registrations, league registrations and FA accreditation to name just a few of the roles of Club Secretary.

Fabio Cardano

Fabio has been our club treasurer since 2023.  Working in Finance professionally, Fabio brings wealth of experience and knowledge to the role that ensures LKYFC is sustainable and self-sufficient financially.  He diligently manages the club finances to ensure our members are able to benefit from playing at well maintained facilities and with up to date equipment.  This last season has finally seen Fabio's son come of age and join the club!

Emma Pearce

Emma has been an LKYFC coach, working closely with Alex and one of our former girls teams for a number of years. Emma has been involved in the welfare role alongside her coaching, but took the reins as Club Welfare Officer in 2023.  Emma brings a wealth of experience to the role, having served in many committees and PTAs. Emma ensures our coaches have access to all the latest FA training and guidance to ensure we can continue to provide a safe, fun, friendly and compliant club for our members

Mike Maidens

Mike joined the LKYFC Committee in September 2025.  Since then he has revolutionised the clubs social media platforms and general online presence.  Mike was the driving force behind all of our age groups having a Main Kit Sponsor for last season.  Mike is also one of the primary organisers of club celebrations including our treasured Coaches Cup!

Dave Peters

Dave also joined the Committee in September 2025.  He assists Alex with the general secretarial duties, responding to enquiries from coaches, members and the public.  He has recently secured FA funding and grants for new equipment, created us a new website and Club Admin system and also assists in the organising of key events such as our Coaches Cup.  Dave has 3 children at the club and coaches both our Under 13 girls team and one of our Under 11 Boys teams.

Coaches Cup 2026

Our Headline End of Season Event, The Coaches Cup, is back for 2026 and it's going to be bigger and better than ever!  A change of Venue this year to Alfold Recreation Ground has allowed us to expand the event into a full on family fun day alongside our traditional World Cup style tournament.  Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Wembley Trip - Lionesses vs Spain

Following the success of last years trip to Wembley for the girls, on Tuesday 14th April, we will be taking 30 players from our girls teams to visit the home of football and support our fantastic Lionesses against World Champions Spain.  This year, we will all be travelling there and back together on a 53 seat coach. Expect a late one with LKYFC on tour!

How you can help...

Friends of LKYFC is a group of dedicated parents and family members that provide non-footballing support to the club. 

Helping to make every season unforgettable by organising fun social events and fundraising activities such as Cake Sales, Quiz nights, Curry nights and Golf Days.  

Friends of LKYFC often volunteer to provide support on club events such as Coaches Cup or trips to Wembley.
